We are the Point of the Mountain Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, a fellowship of men whose ancestors helped secure American independence.
We honor their service not simply by remembering the past, but by carrying its ideals forward through patriotism, education, service, and fellowship in our community.
What we do
Our chapter brings the ideals of the SAR to life through activities that connect our history with the community we serve today.

Our chapter
The Point of the Mountain Chapter serves members and communities from the southern portion of Salt Lake County through Utah County. Our chapter boundaries help define the area we serve, but they don’t limit who is welcome. If you live outside this area and would like to attend our meetings or participate in chapter activities, we’d be pleased to have you join us.
We gather for chapter meetings, historical programs, patriotic observances, community service, and opportunities to learn from one another and enjoy the fellowship that comes from a shared appreciation of our American heritage.

The ideals of the American Revolution are more than part of our history—they continue to shape the way we serve our communities today. Through education, patriotic activities, community service, and fellowship, the Point of the Mountain Chapter works to preserve that heritage and pass it on to future generations.
Our members come from different backgrounds and experiences, but we share a common bond: an appreciation for the sacrifices of those who came before us and a desire to keep their story alive.
