Welcome to the Point of the Mountain (POM) Chapter’s website of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.
This website was designed with the thought that many who visit may not already be members of the Society. Perhaps you are exploring your own family history to discover whether you might have a connection to a Revolutionary War Patriot. Or perhaps you already know that you have a Patriot ancestor but aren’t sure how to begin compiling the records and sources needed to prepare a membership application.

We are living through a remarkable decade of 250th anniversaries—commemorating events that began even before the Shot Heard Round the World and, this year, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It is a marvelous time to reflect upon our nation’s history.
I invite you to explore your own connection to that history and to consider joining us as we celebrate our nation’s past while looking forward to its future.
